There's something about the sound of the camera switching on that signals Bea and Jay J to move. No matter what they are doing, that little sound is their call to action. This is the reason we don't have many photos of late. I am either too slow clicking the shutter or the critters are too fast for me. Either way the result is a big BLURRRRR.
Jay J got to ride in the car today--first time since coming home from the hospital almost 2 weeks ago. He went back to the clinic to have his stitches removed. He is a very good boy. The vet surgeon really likes him, although I suspect he loves animals--just a guess. He says Jay J isn't typical of most young Italian Greyhounds in that he isn't a "total nutball". The stitches came out without a hitch, along with the big bandage wrap and now Jay J has a naked leg. He licks it occasionally, and is very protective of it. It's swollen and red, but it's expected to mend just fine. An x-ray 6 weeks out will tell the story. For now, no running, jumping or long walks.
