Meanwhile, we got an announcement from the Iggy group looking for a volunteer in the form of a "clam, docile IG" for a film gig at Lincoln Park tomorrow. Lots of dog owners volunteered their beautiful and perfect pups, so I thought to myself, "What's more calm and docile than an IG with a broken leg?" I volunteered Jay J for the role. I don't think his qualifications are a match for the part, but I can help him deal with the rejection of not getting the job. He's a star in our book!

A Better Day
Jay J's having a better day today, post medication. He's much more alert and interested in what's happening around him. This afternoon he stretched out in the warm sunshine on the back "lawn" for a few minutes. Ah, a dog's life! He missed seeing all his pals at the Wednesday Iggy Meetup at the park, but we'll be back!
